Beauty Blender Steal!!!

I think the price of a beauty blender is pretty steep for a sponge, but I LOVE IT and I think its worth every penny. so, when I saw the pink sponge going for the cheapest I've ever seen, I needed to get it.

2 for S$37.50 yes please!

Luxola Beauty Blender

You're welcome!

Zoeva brushes, buying guide!

I'm sure we all have seen the advertisements for Luxola on our side bars on facebook, or maybe just me because I'm such a beauty whore. After hearing so much hype about the Zoeva brushes which have been compared to Mac brushes, I'm intrigued.

So I saw them at Luxola and TBH, as all things. Wasn't the cheapest.
The brushes on Luxola would cost me S$149.99, for the Luxe Prime set.

I was going to buy it because I didn't realize Zoeva is a German country, and European shipping is always far cheaper than the US.

I went to the Zoeva website just to have a look see at the prices and lo and behold they were not only cheaper than Luxola but once you put shipping to Singapore, it automatically takes 20% off your order (because we are not part of the EU, we don't have to pay their version of GST which is 20%)

So you get cheaper brushes and on top of that 20% off. I ended up paying 67.23 eur, which is roughly S$102. thats like $50 off :D Shipping was only S$20 or something like that so I ended up picking up another 2 make up palettes and a couple more brushes :D

I finally got the brushes today after only 5 days of ordering which is super fast. Beautifully packaged and all!
I'm super stoked and will film/write a haul sometime in the next few days.

Spoiler alert, they're good.

And that's how you should buy Zoeva brushes if you're in Asia (:

Hold on Sephora.

I've just placed an order for Make Up Forever's HD power from Sephora (via Zalora),
its. S$69. Seriously? I already own one but I never pay full price for my make up, because I'm super lucky to have either friends in Sephora or in DFS, so on average I get about 20% off, with the exception of certain brands.

At S$69, tbh, I'm kinda shocked. It's a lot for a powder. I got it anyway, because I have vouchers.

On the US Sephora site its at, $34 converted: $46. Thats... like a third more expensive.

Then I started looking for Luna, by Sunday Riley, which I've heard so much about and want to get. I found it on a British website for £85. Thats.. roughtly S$180.
On the US site for Sephora its at $105 converted: S$145

why is the difference so high?!

I might just go to Sephora, pick out what I want, save up and bulk order from the Sephora site in the US (which doesn't ship to Singapore) and have it couriered from the US to Singapore, my shipping might cost me $50 USD, but I would have already saved that within 3 products!

This wasn't to deter buying from Sephora SG, but more of do research and see which method works out best for you :D

Meanwhile I'll go raid the Sephora site (US of course)

Do you think its normal we are paying a third more than our friends in the US?
